Free Parking will be available in the parking lots with directional signs taking you to the launch sites.
Arriving at 6:00am should give you time to see the balloons launch. Balloon launches are subject to weather and variables outside of the balloon festival’s control. Remember to give yourself enough time to park and walk to the launch site. If you have a flight reservation, please arrive no later than 6am for check in. Free parking is available.

Pre-Sale General Admission starts at $10.00 (plus taxes and fees). Top flight viewing deck: $10.00 (plus taxes and fees).
Robin Thicke performs Friday night. Tickets start at $49.00 (plus taxes and fees) and include access to the rest of the festival.
FREE parking on first 2 levels of the garage. Additional parking across Hwy 111 with crosswalk access.
Friday mini glows: Festival Lawn ~5:00pm, Westin Mission Hills ~7:00pm. Saturday official glow: Festival Lawn ~7:45pm.
Artisan vendors, food, kids activities, balloon coloring, photo ops, more. Tethered rides $25 Fri 3–5pm & Sat Noon–5pm (weather permitting).
One child 5 and under is free with one paid adult. Does not apply to Friday headline concert.
Yes. Space available inside the festival and amphitheater; first come, first served.
Yes. Accessible parking and accessible viewing areas are available.
Yes. Friday at 8:15pm after Robin Thicke and mini glow.
Saturday tribute bands include Radio Ready, So Petty, Stevie Nicks Illusions, and Queen Nation. Included with festival entry; upgrades available.
Tethered balloons are available at the following times and locations:
- Friday 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Cathedral City Festival Lawn. A festival ticket is required to get into the festival.
- Saturday Noon – 5:00pm at the Cathedral City Festival Lawn. A festival ticket is required to get into the festival.
- Sunday 10:00am – Noon at the Westin Mission Hills Resort Rancho Mirage for Balloon and Brunch event. A separate ticket is required for this event.
All balloon activities are subject to weather. No advanced reservations required or tethered rides. Tethered ride tickets sold on site.
