Friday, November 21 – Free to the Public

The festival weekend kicks off Friday evening with a free community celebration open to all. Doors open at 3:00 PM with vendors, food, and games, followed by live music on the amphitheater stage. Headliner Queen Nation—the nation’s top Queen tribute band—delivers a high-energy show packed with classic hits. As the sun sets, watch the balloons glow against the desert sky, then stay for the grand finale: a spectacular drone light show over Cathedral City.

Friday Schedule

  • 3:00 PM – Festival Doors Open (vendors, music, activities & games)
  • 4:00 PM – Amphitheater Opens
  • 5:00 – 6:00 PM – Radio Ready
  • 6:30 – 8:00 PM – Queen Nation (U.S.’s #1 Queen Tribute Band)

  • 8:00 – 8:45 PM – Mini Balloon Glow

  • 8:45 – 9:00 PM – Drone Light Show
